Unique Bob Hairstyle
We love the unique bob Fern has submitted, it is a creative style that Fern has actually cut herself.
Fern has left enough length at the back to allow for a chignon or to twist the back up and pull out the ends for a funky updo.
Fern has a beautiful complexion that glows and I am sure she receives second looks and compliments on this as well.

I decided to combine
1. Pixie-style (or maybe Dr. Spock) pointed "sideburns" that angle in toward my cheekbones for a slenderizing side view.
2. The straight bangs I had on my favorite hairstyle as a teenager (similar to this).
3. The look of a "mullet" that resembles the longer hair of the Andrews sisters, put into a low hairnet (a chignon?).
4. A sharply defined cut-off point across the back, even with the top of my ears, where the short hair at the top makes a mushroom bob, with straight (head-hugging) longer hair below it, which curls in at the bottom edge.
I have no choice but to cut it myself, to get exactly the look I want. (smile)
I'm 54, and getting fatter, but I still have strangers stop me and tell me how much they love my hairstyle, so I guess it's working for me!
