Stockcross Vineyard Spa Review
The Vineyard at Stockcross
The Vineyard at Stockcross started life in the 18th century as a Hunting Lodge for the lords of the manor. After various incarnations it was eventually purchased and refurbished by the current owner, Sir Peter Michael, who gave it the name the Vineyard and opened it to much aplomb in 1998.
The Stockcross Spa
Extended further in 2004 it now has 31 luxurious rooms and suites and has won a host of awards including a Catey Award for Best Independent Hotel in the UK.
It's 2 Michelin-starred restaurant and selection of over 2000 fine wines offers guests the ultimate in indulgent gastronomy and taste sensations, whilst it's stunning spa, awarded 5 bubbles by the Good Spa Guide, will pamper both body and mind.
Stockcross Vineyard Spa Treatments and Therapies
This outstanding Spa facility offers a fabulous array of treatments and therapies. Incorporating treatments specifically developed for mums to be, couples and men only, not forgetting plenty for the ladies in general including manicures, pedicures, makeup application and lessons, The Vineyard Spa has something for everyone and offers only the best of anything.
Their holistic ESPA treatments for the body and soul, and gdh spa treatments that include head, neck and hand massages all look divine. But their tantalizing range of ISHI treatments takes the pampering element of Spa treatments to a new level. ISHI treatments have three elements.
ChocoTherapy helps improve skin tone, prevent dehydration and nourish the skin. VinoTherapy, uses natural minerals and anti- oxidants found in the grape to detoxify and re balance skin, whilst Truffle Therapy is a groundbreaking concept in facials that helps in the medium and long term to visibly reduce the signs of aging.
All three concepts, which have been developed using natural products, have an extra something too. The Vineyard's Executive Chef has designed a range of chocolates and truffles to complement the Choco and Truffle Therapies, whilst the Inoperably includes a glass of wine, resulting in treatments that not only sound good enough to eat but actually can be!
Away from the edible treatments, others offered at the Stockcross Vineyard Spa are equally satisfying. Their signature treatments are designed to give ultimate relaxation to both mind and body. Amongst them is the Balinese Journey. An 85 minute trip that starts with body brushing that exfoliates and stimulates followed by lime infused hot mitts to cleanse the skin. Once the body is relaxed and the skin purified a traditional Balinese massage will unblock energy channels balancing the body's rhythm and restoring vitality.
This elegant boutique spa reflects the 5 star opulence found throughout the Vineyard at Stockcross. From the circular pool beneath a stunning domed glass roof to the spa bath with its massaging and soothing water jets the environment is both tranquil and exclusive.
There are four treatment suites each with a different theme and also a double treatment suite designed for couples and friends. With steam room, sauna, snail shower, poolside relaxation and refreshment area and a small spa garden the Vineyard is truly a haven of privacy and relaxation.
