Models Photo Shoot
Model Shoots
When going on a models photo shoot it's important to realize that you are a professional at work.
Even though you are leaving the finished product to the photographer's and editors, you are responsible for bringing your basic essentials and for ensuring that you are readily prepared for your photo shoots.
The best way to ensure that you are ready for any models photo shoot is to bring a bag, commonly referred to as a model's bag.
Select a bag that is large enough to carry all of your accessories. This way, you can be certain that should anything go awry on your model shoot, you'll be prepared.
Photographers and editors appreciate working with models that know how to be prepared in any situation as well. A model's bag is essential for every modeling gig.
The model's bag should contain enough accessories to assist in any wardrobe, hair, or makeup malfunctions, as well as a few essentials that will always come in handy.
For hair, you should ensure that you have clips, barrettes or bobby pins, hair spray, gel, mousse, brushes and combs, and rubber bands.
You might even want to consider carrying a travel size bottle of shampoo and conditioner just in case of emergencies.
Your model bag should also contain your essential makeup, as well as cleansing pads. If you need to make makeup changes between shows, you'll have all of your essentials ready and on hand.
Other items of importance include clothing essentials, nylons or pantyhose, masking tape, a small sewing kit, safety pins for repairing sudden tears or rips, and any undergarments that you think you might need.
By keeping these essentials with you at all times, you can make certain that you are ready no matter what type of emergency arises on a models photo shoot.
In addition to focusing on beauty, hair, and wardrobe, it is also a good idea to prepare for modeling shoots by practicing your poses and walk. >
