If you've seen Blush: The Search for the Next Great Makeup Artist, you surely know who Maxi is. If you haven't seen the show, I offer my condolences and a chance to get acquainted with Maxi, the quirky, yet ingeniously talented makeup artist to the stars.

Barely 30, Maxi has been in the makeup and hair biz for a decade now. He started his career with a small makeup kit and just a few resources inside, but it didn't take long for Maxi to get noticed, as satisfied clients would refer him to many others.

Nowadays, this makeup artist works on some of today's finest actors and musicians. While his clients are too numerous to list here, some noteworthy makeovers include Lady GaGa, Christina Aguilera, Paris Hilton, Dita Von Teese and James Franco.

Though he did not take home the Blush grand prize, he was one of two finalists and still managed to prove his artistic genius to the world through his brilliant creations.

When the other contestants pulled out what you'd typically expect in a makeup kit, Maxi whipped out his art stencils like an a-bomb at an old-fashioned gunslinging.

This both surprised and intimidated his fellow contestants. He also had some other crafty accessories in his makeup kit that no one else had. Most of the other contenders expressed, at one point or another, that Maxi was their greatest threat in the competition.
