Full Layered Hairstyle

Morgan Fairchild’s full layered hairstyle goes a long way in proving that mature women do not have to give into the pressure from past generations to clip their locks short once they reach a certain age.

It is perfectly acceptable to wear your hair in a full layered hairstyle like Morgan Fairchild does when you are of a mature age as long as the style works favorably with your hair type and facial features.

Morgan’s long layers in this full hairstyle frame her face artfully adding a finish that is light and feathered.

Often times a hairdo with an abundance of length can appear heavy and weighed down, the implementation of layers takes the density down and allows for flow.

Style This Full Layered Hairstyle

  • Wash your hair with the proper shampoo and conditioner for your hair type.
  • Use a wide tooth comb to remove any tangles from damp hair and then spread a palm full of styling mousse throughout your hair evenly with your fingers.
  • Blow dry your hair in sections that are small and easy to manage using a vented brush while you dry.
  • Lift your hair through the roots and the crown directing the heat upward so that you can give your hairdo volume.
  • Direct your bangs to the side, and fold the ends of your hair under while you dry.
  • Once all of your hair is dry, back comb through the top of your head and crown until you have as much height and fullness as you want If desired, you can roll the ends of your hair around a large barreled curling iron.

Finishing

Smooth some styling pomade between your hands and run your palms gently over your hair, staying away from your roots.

Mist with a light hold hairspray through the top for hold, avoid the ends as this can cause stiffness and prevent movement.
