Foot Scrub To Moisturize And Soften Dry Skin

One can never have too many foot scrub recipes to use at home. Using a foot scrub gently exfoliate the feet of the skin, and prepare them for moisturizing treatments.
The natural ingredients of oatmeal to moisturize and cornmeal and salt to remove dead skin layer make it gentle enough to use on children's feet as well.
Children also find it great fun to "bag" their feet in the second step.
This foot scrub recipe and softening treatment is excellent for treating the dry cracked skin of the winter months, or a little neglect.
Make it up to your feet with this easy home treatment that is inexpensive and easy peasy to mix up.
Recipe To Soften Feet
Part One
Recipe
You Will Need:
1/4 cup course salt
1/4 cup oatmeal
1/4 cup cornmeal
2 tablespoons Aloe Vera Gel
1/4 cup unscented body lotion
Medium size bowel for mixing
Measuring cup and spoon
Small bowl or container
Towel
2 Plastic bags, large enough to fit over each foot.
Mix together well, the mixture will form a very thick paste.
Gently scrub feet from your toes up to your ankles, being sure to include the skin at the top of your feet and in between each toe.
Rinse well
Part Two
Moisturizing Treatment
You Will Need
4 tablespoons almond oil
4 teaspoons cocoa butter
Oil from 4 Vitamin E capsules,(if yours do not have a twist off top, simply poke with a pin)
Clean dry socks, thin white cotton are ideal
2 large elastics or covered hair elastics
Tub, large enough to fit both feet when filled with warm water.
If you have one deep enough to cover your feet with warm water right up to the ankles, that is the one to use.
Mix well in your small container.
Slather your moisturizer on your feet generously and you will now treat your feet to a home spa.
Put on socks, (I save a pair of thin white cotton ones just for this treatment) and wrap your feet in the plastic bags.
Secure at your ankles with the elastics.
Place your feet in the tub of warm water and let them "spa" for about 15 minutes.
Now enjoy soft, smooth feet that feel like a million!
Enjoy!
