In addition to being talented and fashion forward, this fella has had a thick, healthy head of hair that has been worn long, short, and everything in between to suit his wide variety of characters over the years.
Tom is another fine faced gentleman who has added a tough guy edge to his look with an almost buzzed clipper cut.
While growing out from super short, hair can be worn slightly spiky and wispy with a razor cut ‘do with a bit of fringe to frame the face. Use a bit of a soft pomade and twist the ends of hair to add definition and texture to such a style.
He’s also been one of the Hollywood hunks who has pulled off a longer style complete with rugged facial hair and kept it looking classy and tidy. In Mission Impossible: II, his long hair was razor cut with angled layers and slightly sideswept bangs to frame his strong features.
To work that longer length, keep hair shampooed and healthy, and blow dry with a round brush to give it volume and shine.
Most commonly, however, Tom wears his hair a more conservative length with tapered, short sides and a little more length on top.
Hair can be worn brushed back from the forehead for a sleek, more formal look, but often Cruise will sport a fringe of some sort, sometimes full bangs across the forehead, other times a sideswept angled forelock. A side part adds volume and lift to his already full hair, and a bit of color added to the ends of hair adds depth to his chestnut locks.

In order to adopt a little classic Cruise style, begin with a shaped to fit cut that hugs the sides of the head and tapers at the neckline.
Keep the front and top longer and slightly textured for additional height and fullness.
If hair is wavy of curly, add a straightening balm to damp hair, and blow-dry straight and smooth.
If hair is reasonably straight, comb a dollop of firm hold mousse through damp hair and arrange hair for air drying.
Once hair is dried, you may add a spritz of shine spray to give hair an extra healthy sheen and keep hair smooth and frizz-free.
